About 35 per cent is put into small bowls to be left in fridges, and then dumped. 2 per cent. is used for tooth cleaning, and about the same is used as an antacid. Perhaps 1 per cent. is used in baking (we're talking Baking Soda here after all)
The remaining 60 per cent. is used in cooking crack cocaine. Ummm, yummy yummy crack cocaine.
Oh, and a vanishingly small fraction is used with lemon juice to power model rocket cars. And boats. And rockets. And other fun stuff.
