Political Parties

The political party phenomenon is nearing the end of its usefullness.

Current polls tend to show "Independent" as the largest group, at least in those states requiring party affiliation for voting.

Duh.

At the local university it's impossible to find a republican. It's also impossible to find a democrat. I can find "libertarians and "progressives" (read "socialists"), but the youth base is repudiating the party affiliation
