Doctor F. came to this country from Italy just before that big war. He is known and loved for a couple of phrases: "I like to make mistakes. When I make mistakes, I learn." Not always what you want to hear from a heart surgeon, but WTH.
Also: "Everywhere I go I carry pleasure with me in a little box", line delivered while holding up a "little box" labeled "Marlboro Cigarettes".
Must have been 89, maybe 82 when he was hit by a falling airplane.
